Grab your comfiest and fastest sweater and join us for the Sweater Weather 10K or 5K trail run - where the trails are golden, the pies are aplenty, and the vibes are pure autumn bliss. Both race distances kick off at 10 AM!
WE ARE SOLD OUT - there is a small chance that additional spots may open up over the next month. If you would like to be added to the waitlist please email rnestendurance@gmail.com with your name and the number of spots you're looking for. If spots open up we will send you an email to register.
We believe running is best served with a side of pie, a heap of laughter, and a whole lot of knitwear. This isn’t just a race - it’s a community gathering stitched together by the joy of crisp autumn air, crunchy trails, and the undeniable urge to show off your best (or worst) fall sweater.
Our course, winding through the pine forests of the Canmore Nordic Centre, is designed for anyone looking to take on a small dose of adventure (and elevation) - whether you’re here to chase a personal best, take in the scenery at a stroll, or simply chase the last slice of pumpkin pie. We welcome all those united by their love of cozy layers, beautiful pine trails, and post-race snacks.
We actively promote a culture where every runner - regardless of pace, experience, or sweater game - feels supported and celebrated. Our double-track dirt trails make room for high-fives, group selfies, and maybe even a spontaneous leaf fight.
So pull on your favorite sweater, grab your crew, and get ready to share the stoke. At the Sweater Weather 10K & 5K, you’ll not only log some miles - you'll make memories, swap recipes, and leave with a belly full of pie and a heart full of autumn.
